All Copiscan® 8000 Plus scanners with video interfaces include Kofax's VirtualReScan™ image enhancement technology as a standard feature at no additional cost.  VRS is a powerful combinaqtion of hardware and software that takes the guesswork out of scanner settings.  An "intelligent monitoring agent" checks image quality and rejects documents that fall below preset quality levels.  In addition, VRS automatically recovers from many common problems, such as multifeeds, paper jams and out-of-paper errors.  This means scanner operators can work more efficiently, which ultimately boosts productivity. 

One-Touch Operation + Intelligent Design = Ease of Use

Operating a Böwe Bell & Howell scanner has never been easier.  Copiscan® 8000 Plus scanners also include a new operator interface for simple, 'one-touch' scanning.  Three new buttons - "clean," "multifeed ignore," and "batch counter reset" - instantly set the scanner for these common tasks.  This lets operators focus on scanning documents - not reading complicated user manuals.

In addition, Böwe Bell & Howell has added a new, more intuitive paper handling system to the Copiscan® 8000 Plus.  The paper feeder automatically self-adjusts for paper thicknesses, and a new exit tray accomodates documents of almost any size.  This increases productivity by reducing jams and paper misfeeds.  Combine that with an easy access clambshell design and the productivity-enhancing benefits of VRS, and you have a scanner that exceeds your requirements, even in the most pressing conditions.
